Gamera

Gamera (ガメラ) is a turtle-like kaiju originating from a series of Japanese tokusatsu films of the same name. Created by Daiei in 1965, Gamera was meant to be a box office rival for the successful Godzilla franchise, but over the years, the character has gained fame and notoriety as a Japanese icon in his own right.  Despite his appearance as a giant, tusked turtle, Gamera has multiple surprising abilities, including - but not limited to - the ability to breath flames, and fly.
